still not an actual post...summer's been surprisingly lively this year.  huh.  but i thought i'd drop a brief post for shigs and niggles.  my new computer arrived yesterday...my first non-shuttle in a long while.  its hot-ness...woot.  and in an unrelated note, new harry potter trailer is out for the final two movies.  argh!  come out faster!  that is all...

the brand-spanky new trailer for iron man 2 is out, and so is the second trailer for the upcoming remake of clash of the titans.  very sweet x2.  release the kraken!

great googily moogily the new tron legacy posters hot.  gizmodo also had a brief synopsis of the movie plot, which up until now was pretty vague, aside from "dudes on light-bikes fuck each other up."  and i'm not sure why i didn't know this, but olivia wilde's in the movie too?  yea, i'm sold...i'm there.

hoo fucker it's been a long couple weeks.  work has been...interesting, and play has been equally so.  i had written up a post pertaining to last friday's face-first run-in with religious types, but i'm still finessing that entry.  these situations usually help me to add solidity to my foundation of ideals...conflict usually makes my brain fire on all cylinders.  i'll just leave that post for another day.  in the meantime, i finally find myself with a brief respite. 

i tossed this trailer on my facebook a while back, but meant to post it here too.  facebook makes me lazy...especially with movie trailer posts since it's so easy to just press the little "share" button.  blah.  i still dig the trailer tho.  the cast is pretty boss too...sam worthington, liam neeson, and ralph feinnes.  and unlike alot of the comments i've seen out there, i think the soundtrack that goes with the trailer is spot on...

hrmm...its been a while since we got a ninja movie here in the states, right? hey look, a new ninja movie! from the wachowski's even...and directed by the director of v for vendetta....word. too bad for the pedantic movie name tho. and most of the lead ninjas are actually korean. k. at least sho kosugi's in it for some ninja-cred.

ooh...k, i didnt know this. apparently the new enterprise in jj abrams movie is significantly bigger than the original enterprise. by alot...so much so that its bigger than even the galactica. the nacelles themselves are alone longer than the original enterprise! via gizmodo
