ha, good of me to jot down a journal entry and not bother finishing it til today. woot. when the holidays are around the corner, its kind of hard to bother caring about writing asinine journal entries. ok ok, lets see what i had written for last weekend (because its already kind of a blur). me and i4 headed to the xo house for some yum hotpot after work last friday with his crew. meat heaven...woot. after recovering from our food coma, we relaxed the rest of the night away at ñ. everytime we go there and i blog about it, i have to google the damn ñ. yar.
CASINO ROYALE
i caught casino royale satty with di...bond got his balls back! instead of talking nonsense and drinking martinis, the new daniel craig bond is too busy shooting people for shits and giggles and kicking peoples faces in. its good stuff. we caught a super-late dinner in k-town afterwards. i had gam mee oak in mind, but the idea of an ox-tail soup kind of scared di. so we went to kun jip, where a noodles and "broth" dish caught di's eyes. after she started noshing on her dish, i had to break it to her that she was having the ox-tail soup. sneaky sneaky.
SOBA-YA
hearty noodle soups with spark on wednesday at soba-ya. ah soothing.
HOLIDAY PARTY

ANNAS BDAY
we gathered at luzzo saturday nite for annas berfday dinner...hooray! its funny because we dont go out for italian much, so this was a nice treat. definitely good italian. and then near the end of our yum meal, sean and anna broke the news that they were engaged...omg! now i cant use the excuse that "none of my friends are engaged" with my parents anymore...damnit. but hey, grats to them! after the champagne toasts, we migrated down to double happiness to meet up with everyone else and continue the double celebrations...how appropo!
DIM SUM
sunday was dim sum with mink at dim sum a go go. itd been a while since we met up for dim sum, so we snuck one in before the end of the year. we roamed soho afterwards for some gift-shopping, and then kind of spent more on ourselves at teno then on actual presents. oops...go us. whatever, mink found what she was looking for. eventually. and thats what matters.
btw, 3 days til vacation...word.
i didnt do anything this weekend...but whatever. new harry potter specials for the forthcoming order of the phoenix. woot! via aicn.
